Now Hiring - DHDC Executive Director

Duties Include:
• Work with developers, property owners and businesses to ensure a vibrant Downtown
• Cultivate relationships with Downtown merchants, Chamber of Commerce, Convention &
Visitors Bureau, Ellis County Coalition, local government, business owners, residents and other nonprofit organizations
• Lead fundraising efforts
• Manage all marketing and promotional efforts
• Manage volunteer support during community activities
• Budget development and allocation
• Report to Board of Directors

• The ideal applicant will have education and experience in the following areas: historic preservation, economic development, marketing, grant writing, volunteer and nonprofit management, fundraising, communication and financial acumen.
• The Executive Director will be energetic, organized, possess excellent public speaking and written communication skills, capable of inspiring volunteers, business professionals and the community.
