Downtown Spotlight with Leland Olive of Couture for Men

Leland Olive started his life in Hays after moving from his hometown of Ford to attend FHSU. Leland opened Couture for Men in 2007 after spending over twenty years working around the U.S. He spent time in cities like Philidelphia, St. Louis, and Oakland but decided to return to his Alma Mater and open his own men's retail store in Hays. In 2013, he moved his business to Downtown, expanding his store space and collections. Leland's passion for his craft extended beyond mere fashion; he wished for people to understand the significance of owning a well-fitted suit and the importance of customer service and tailoring. To stay ahead of the curve, Leland regularly attended market events where he viewed thousands of brands like Tommy Bahama and Johnny-O to determine which ones he wanted to bring into his store. This allowed him to curate a collection that resonated with his customers, always ensuring that Couture for Men remained a hub of fashion excellence in Hays.

As a partner to the DHDC, Leland is also a proud supporter of the Hays community and urges others to do the same. Couture for Men's large selection of name-brand clothing makes it a one-stop shop for everything you or the men in your life need, from socks and belts to custom-fitted suits, so shop local and shop Couture!
